## What is Automata?

[Automata](https://x.com/automatanetwork) is a machine attestation layer built by humans, designed for machines. We have previously debuted Multi-Prover AVS on EigenLayer Mainnet as part of the earliest cohort of AVSs on the restaking protocol. 

Automata builds in the open, and we ask that projects also build in the spirit of open source to encourage learning, and to benefit the community at large.

## Task

**Create an AVS that uses either one of these two TEE tools created by the Automata team:**

- **Automata DCAP v4 library**
    
    Automata DCAP v4 library provides a unified interface to verify SGX/TDX attestations onchain. Part of its design is onchain PCCS, a decentralized repository to manage, store and reuse collaterals. DCAP v4 also supports two verification modes for DCAP attestation: Proof aggregation (*by way of RISC Zero) to optimize gas costs and direct quote verification onchain for economic security.
    
    To verify if a workload or service is running in a genuine Intel TEE, the suite of smart contract libraries are:

- **Automata SGX SDK**
    
    Automata SGX SDK is a Rust implementation that allows developers to build applications that run within an Intel SGX enclave, supported by Cargo. It is focused on being user-friendly, fast, and efficient. We build the Automata SGX SDK to accommodate a broad user base, including industry projects, developers who are interested in building with TEEs but might not know otherwise how to start, AVS hobbyists etc., and who often have conflicting requirements and domain knowledge. Automata SGX SDK alleviates some of that pressure with well-maintained and well-tested packages, having been deployed in real-world environments ([SGX Prover](http://github.com/automata-network/sgx-prover) and [REVM](https://github.com/automata-network/revm-sgx)).

## Task

Build Data-driven dApps with Brevis ZK Coprocessor

**Requirements:**

- Developers are required to integrate Brevis SDK v0.2 into their dApps successfully. The github repo can be found in the following section.
- The dApps should access historical blockchain states, transaction and/or events, and run customized business logic/computation on those data through Brevis ZK Coprocessor.
- The integration should be meaningful: accessing historical states that are also available in the current blockchain states does not count as successful integration.
- To qualify for the bounty, the dApp must write customized and meaningful computation logic on the data accessed. Simply utilizing historical on-chain data without any computation does not qualify for the first prize.
- We do consider partial or incomplete integration on a case-by-case basis. For submissions aiming to solve real-world use cases with a clear path towards full integration, we will most likely issue the full amount of the bounty.

For the AVSthon, Lagrange is offering $5K to developers to build with the Lagrange ZK Coprocessor. Historically, it’s been challenging and expensive to have verifiable access to historical onchain data, which has limited the types of applications that can be built. With Lagrange’s ZK Coprocessor, you can perform custom SQL queries of vast amounts of onchain data directly from your smart contract in an efficient way and have the results verified using ZK proofs. This allows you to supercharge your application and build web3 apps that mirror the utility, scale and functionality of web2 apps.
